If you need free storage that you can access from any computer or device, this is a good service. A drawback for many people wanting to use this site, is the social network aspect that you are encouraged to use. Windows Live Profile and SkyDrive have been integrated, so anything that has been uploaded by any friends on this network can be shared. Your files never need to be shared, but getting involved with Live Profile might get you into sharing files, so you would need to be careful with your safeguarded files. Yes, of course there is a ton of info out there on data recovery, and actually that made the selection process of what to include a bit interesting.
